Islands off Krabi

You go to Krabi to enjoy nature – the waters, the caves, the mountains. While the resort town of Ao Nang is your staging base and Krabi town has some fascinating food options, it’s unfanthomable that you’d stay in the town only.

You don’t even have to go very far to get a great view.

Let’s start with the beaches. Located at Ao Nang is the Ao Nang beach.

Ko To IslandYour longtail boat would probably bring you to a few islands to snorkel (if you choose to snorkel that is). One of them is Ko Poda.

And yes, these islands are as beautiful as the pictures and videos.

The beautiful islands of Krabi were made popular by the 1974 version of James Bond (played by Roger Moore) – The Man with the Golden Gun.

This is the scene where the beaches were shown.

There’s a reason they went there.

You should too.
